Our signature, ever popular, Hainan style beef broth is cook with special recipe perfected with years of experience. The standard ingredients are beef meatball, beef tripe, beef tendon, sliced beef, sirloin, and always added with some Chinese Sauerkraut (Suan Chai) and parsley to compliment the flavourful serving.

LAKSA Noodles

Our self-developed Laksa recipe is made with a wide range of herbs and spices. The mild-spicy broth is aromatic, flavourful and unique. Served with some creamy coconut milk as the finishing touch, a bowl of our Laksa noodles will definitely offer a fine balance between excitement and smoothness in savour for your taste bud.

Three types of ingredients – Beef, Seafood and Chicken – are available at your choice to serve with noodles and the Laksa broth.

About us

Business Integrity & Sincerity

Established in 1993 by Mr. Ling, Yii Siang Hainan Ngiu Chap has grown from a very humble beginning as a small stall selling beef noodles to become a famous local Kota Kinabalu household name.

Despite his lack of business experience, he managed to get their stall off the ground mainly through sheer hard work. Mr. Ling appreciates the guidance of his mentor. Yii Siang Hainan Ngiu Chap owes its glorious success to the secret recipe guarded by Mr. Ling which he has maintaining and perfecting till today.

By persistence, perseverance and a will that defies all odds, Mr. Ling’s hard work finally paid off and is seen in the continual return of his customers for the famous delicacy – a sumptuous bowl of beef noodles.

With strong beliefs in business integrity and sincerity, Mr. Ling insists on only fresh, high-quality ingredients for his beef noodles.

Mr. Ling owes his thanks to his wife and family for their unconditional love and support.
